ABSTRACT The rising global demand for green energy necessitates advanced power electronics solutions for efficient power conversion. Multilevel inverters (MLIs) have gained significant attention due to their ability to generate multiple voltage levels, improving efficiency and power quality. This work presents a novel triple‐boost switched‐capacitor (SC) seven‐level inverter designed to enhance power conversion efficiency and boost up to three times the DC input voltage. The proposed topology generates seven distinct output voltage levels using a single DC source and two SCs while minimizing voltage stress on the switches through a streamlined switching strategy. A comprehensive comparative analysis with conventional MLIs and recent topologies highlights the proposed design's advantages in terms of reduced component count, higher efficiency, and cost‐effectiveness. The inverter topology has been validated through MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS simulations, with an experimental prototype that confirms consistent performance under varying load conditions. The prototype achieved an impressive efficiency of 97.02%, with voltage and current THD measured at 14.2% and 1.36%, respectively, at a 1‐kW load.
