The aim of the research is to determine the pedagogical conditions for reducing conflict among adolescents in the educational environment. The article defines the content of the concept of conflict, examines scientific approaches to the conflict of the adolescent personality, and analyzes its relationship with the characteristics of the ontogenetic stage of development, the type of family upbringing, and modern information and communication conditions. The work analyzes how the educational environment influences the development of conflict among adolescents. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the substantiation of general and specific conditions of the educational environment that contribute to reducing conflict among adolescents. The author attributes spatial-organizational, age-psychological, and psychological-pedagogical factors to the general conditions. The specific conditions include the creation of a favorable atmosphere; the uniformity of pre-agreed requirements for activities and behavior within the educational process; the adequacy of the requirements presented to students’ needs, interests, opportunities, and abilities; the encouragement of activity and effort of students; the formation of adequate self-esteem and critical thinking; the mastery of strategies for overcoming difficulties; and the mastery of methods for reducing anxiety. The research established that conflict among adolescents in the educational environment is primarily due to the individual characteristics of the student’s personality, and the impact of external factors can contribute to its intensification. It is necessary to create conditions in the educational environment that contribute to reducing conflict among adolescent students.
