As the first polyphonic folk choral art to be inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of China, the Dong Da Song is not only a treasure of Chinese culture, but also a bright pearl in the diversity of world music .However, under the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization, the survival space of Dong Da Song is being squeezed continuously, and its inheritance and development are facing unprecedented challenges .As an important position of cultural education, schools should take the initiative to assume the responsibility ofprotecting and promoting the excellent traditional national culture .Based on the in-depth analysis ofthe survival status ofthe Dong folk song, this paper explores the practical significance and path ofits entry into the school music classroom, with a view to providing feasible solutions for the living inheritance ofthis precious cultural heritage.
