Today, e-commerce, being one of the spheres of the digital economy, is developing dynamically, and therefore there is an increase in the volume of express cargo movement across the customs border of the EAEU. This growth is largely due to the development of online commerce around the world. When moving express cargoes, certain simplifications are provided, in particular, the priority of customs operations in a shorter period of time. In recent years, the system of customs declaration of express cargoes has undergone many changes aimed at optimizing this customs operation. In the article, the authors examined the active development of this area, which is associated with an increase in the growth of consumer purchases of goods made via the internet. Recommendations are proposed on leveling threats and problems related to customs operations and customs control in relation to express cargo, in order to ensure the economic security of the EAEU member states.
