The results of a study of change in the mechanical properties and electrical resistance of 10 mm-wide strips made of C1 lead during six passes during rolling on a 130Ѕ10 double-roll mill are presented. It is found that with a decrease in the thickness of the tapes from 2.0 to 0.9 mm, the total relative compression increases from 30 to 55 %, with changes in the strength and plastic properties, as well as the electrical resistance of the material. In the initial (soft) state of the tapes, the values of microhardness, tensile strength and electrical resistance are minimal: 13 HV, σv = 1.09 MPa and R = 4.01 Ohm respectively, and the plastic parameters are maximum: elongation δ = 25 % and reduction of area ψ = 54 %. After the last pass, with a total compression of 55 % of the tapes, the values of microhardness, tensile strength and electrical resistance increased to: 51 HV, σv = = 1.56 MPa and R = 6.25 Ohm respectively, and the plasticity decreased: δ = 17.6 % and ψ = 23.15 %. Graphs are constructed that allow us to establish intersecting relationships between changes in strength and plastic properties in the initial state and as the accumulated deformation increases to 55 % during rolling of C1 lead tapes. It is shown that with an increase in relative compression from 0 to 55 %, the electrical resistance of C1 lead tapes increases from 4.01 to 6.25 Ohm according to a linear law. A linear regression equation that establishes a relationship between the electrical resistance and the relative compression of the C1 lead tapes is the results of studies and patterns are used in the analysis of the results of the mechanical properties and electrical resistance of rolled products and the adjustment of the rolls of the 130Ѕ10 mill of the Bogorodsky branch of JSC "Scientifi c and Production Association "Pibor" named after S.S. Golembiovsky" machine-building enterprise to improve the quality of blanks for critical purposes made of C1 lead tapes.
