Objective: The purpose of this research is to explore the potential for patenting technical solutions related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in computer modelling and image recognition. Theoretical Framework: We will base our research on the regulatory frameworks of leading countries regarding the criteria for protecting inventions, such as novelty, inventiveness, and industrial applicability. Method: Our methodology will involve an expert assessment of the distinctiveness of the claims in the international patent classification and compliance with the criteria for protection of inventions in the relevant areas. Results and Discussion: The results of this study support the potential of neural network technology in analysing the distinctive features of a formula and its positive impact on technical solutions in computer modelling and image recognition. Research Implications: These findings can be utilized in the search for analogues and prototypes during the preparation of applications for patenting inventions using AI (neural networks). Originality/Value: The significance of this research lies in identifying criteria for patentability in countries like Russia, the United States, and China, as well as the possibility of conducting rapid patent searches using mobile applications.
