The practical applications of geography assist the most effective means to comprehend our duty to safeguard nature. Competency is based on 'self-realization and self-regulation', which enable the successful completion of assigned tasks for enhancing the skill. The objective of this study is to evaluate the current knowledge, necessity for teacher training, and various creative activities. This study examined a number of pedagogical interventions on 39 senior secondary school teachers from the western region of India. The effectiveness of these interventions has been measured using various techniques with the assistance of pre- and post-test assessments. The findings of this training program reveal a significant positive impact on teachers, as indicated by percentage analysis and t-test. As a result, the huge improvement had been seen on those teachers whose earlier knowledge is lesser. Therefore, this study will be highly advantageous for students, teachers, curriculum developers, and stakeholders involved in practical geography.
