AbstractThe aim of study to measures the changes of convention practices of crop production and livestock management for income generation of farmers through facilitate by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). For this purpose, the details questionnaire was used for data collection through personal qualitative interview of the randomly selected 110 farmers from Sriganagnagar district of Western Rajasthan, India. Study revealed that the cotton and wheat crop area were improved whereas, green gram and mustard area shown declining trend. The productivity of all field crops was improved. In horticulture crops, farmers were started vegetables cultivation in some area instead of field crops. In livestock production, milk production of cow and buffalo were shown increasing trend and farmers were also adopted goat rearing in post intervention scenario. The overall impact was that the highest numbers of farmers were also started improved technologies which improved better use of available limited resources and final output higher income. So, the conclusion of the study was revealed that the different activities conducted by the KVK helpful for adoption of improved management practices as well as income generation techniques in limited available resources of canal command areas’ farmers of western Rajasthan.
