Motivation: Early detection and treatment of vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) caused by cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) can reverse cognitive impairment in patients and improving cerebral circulation may be a new method. Goal(s): 4D flow MRI was used to measure and observe intracranial hemodynamic changes in CSVD patients with CI, and its correlation with CI was found. Approach: 4D flow MRI was used to measure and observe intracranial hemodynamic changes in CSVD patients with CI. Results: The decrease of intracranial hemodynamics in patients with CSVD and cognitive impairment is related to cognitive impairment and white matter hyperintensity. Impact: Our finding helps to identify patients who may benefit from interventions to improve the functions of the cerebral circulatory system and provides a potential new path for clinical treatment.
