Motivation: Human body modeling in electromagnetic (EM) simulations is crucial as it directly impacts the accuracy of the EM simulations. Goal(s): The goal is to analyze the impact of mesh density, model scaling and simplifications on SAR. Approach: An 8Tx/16Rx coil is used with human models to evaluate the EM field distribution. Results: A higher number of mesh cells reduces discrepancies in SAR distribution by up to 52%. Geometric scaling down can increase peak SAR by 50%. Simplifying human models leads to a 14% difference in SAR distribution for the female model compared to the original model with full tissue types. Impact: This study discusses how body modeling in EM simulations impacts the SAR at UHF MRI.
