Intravenous (IV) therapy is essential in healthcare but often requires constant manual supervision, leading to risks such as over-infusion or fluid loss. To address this, an IoT-based intelligent drip monitoring system is proposed. Using Arduino as the main controller and a non-contact sensor for flow detection, the system automatically halts abnormal drip rates through a servo motor, alerts staff via a buzzer and GSM module, and enables real-time ECG monitoring. ECG signals are displayed locally on an LCD and transmitted to the ThingSpeak cloud via NodeMCU, with further analysis in MATLAB for cardiovascular risk detection. By combining automated drip control with patient monitoring, the system enhances remote healthcare management, reduces manual intervention, and improves patient safety.
