Integration of Upi in Banking Apps: A Study on Usability and Functionality

This study examines the usability and functionality of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) integration within banking applications from the user's perspective. As digital payments rapidly expand across India, UPI has emerged as a widely adopted and efficient platform for secure and real-time fund transfers. The research uses a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents to gather insights on key areas such as ease of use, reliability, security perception, and customer support. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, mode, and standard deviation, to understand user satisfaction and identify performance gaps. The findings reveal that while users generally find UPI features convenient and secure, issues remain regarding transaction reliability and the effectiveness of customer support. Based on these insights, the study offers concrete recommendations to enhance the digital banking experience and support the continued growth of UPI-based services.
