The purpose of the research is to analyse the reflections on the prominent representatives of Ukrainian culture biographies in modern theatrical practices in the period of 2022–2025. The research methodology applies an interdisciplinary approach, which allows using the academic works from literary studies, cultural studies, philosophy, and art history. The author uses general scientific methods such as analysis and synthesis to highlight theatrical performances of 2022–2025, dedicated to the biographies of well-known figures of national culture, and a comparative one to analyse the categories of ‘biographism’ and a ‘hero’ in humanities. Scientific Novelty. The article attempts to highlight the reflection of prominent representatives of Ukrainian culture biographism in the theatres, exemplified by theatrical productions in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv from 2022 to 2025, as a means of representing national identity and its semantic connotations. Conclusions. Thus, in the current complex conditions of Ukrainian society’s development, theatrical practices increasingly turn to biographism of figures in national art – Taras Shevchenko, Lesia Ukrainka, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Alla Horska, and others. This artistic approach enables the representation and transmission to society of cultural narratives such as struggle, historical memory, the category of justice, the people’s existence, freedom, autochthony, continuity, and love.
