This article explores the life and scientific-pedagogical legacy of Ozgorush Sharshekeevich Sharshekeev (1935–2017), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, and People's Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic. It highlights his early years in Karakol, his pursuit of higher education, and the challenges he overcame during military service and employment. Particular emphasis is placed on his academic achievements, including the successful defense of his doctoral dissertation under the supervision of the prominent scholar K.P. Stanyukovich at Moscow State University. The article also outlines his extensive teaching and leadership experience at Kyrgyz State University, his contributions to the development of physics in Kyrgyzstan, and his role in shaping and mentoring students. Furthermore, the article reflects on his deep love for his family, his profound respect for his wife Uköy, and his ability to find happiness in simplicity. The main objective of the article is to present Ozgorush Sharshekeev’s teaching experience as a model for current and future educators.
