Abstract The preservation and revitalization of traditional villages, in the face of rapid urbanization, is a complex issue. This study focuses on strategies to revitalize the built environment and maintain the cultural heritage of these villages. Through in-depth analysis and comprehensive evaluation of the built environment, specific revitalization measures are formulated. This includes architectural restoration, landscape preservation, cultural inheritance, improvement of public service facilities, sustainable utilization of ecological resources, and exploration of new economic development models. Community engagement and collaboration among multiple stakeholders is emphasized to ensure the smooth implementation and long-term effectiveness of the revitalization strategies.
