The objective of the study is to represent the semantic discourse space of the prose poem “Christ” by Ivan Turgenev (its semantic model) based on a frame analysis, with the interdisciplinary approach principle underlying the basis of the analysis. The article considers the unit of the analysis – a perceptual event. Its structure is based on subject-object relationships – sensory perception acts determined by the intention of the narration subject and the perception object considered as a real object and as a “converted form of activity” (a percept image). The scientific novelty of the study lies in the consideration of the category of meaning as a trinitarian construct, existing in three measurement systems – conceptual (in mental projection), linguistic as the probabilistic potential of the implicational, discursive as a verbally expressed phenotext and a modeled genotext. These theoretical provisions were applied to the description of the semantic structure of the text of Russian classical literature of the 19th century: the cognitive process by a narrator (the subject of perception) is built as a frame structure through modeling intuitive representations (images), the organization of which appears to be the cognitive space of a personality. The study concluded that all semantic hubs of the semiotic fields of the poem are associated with the Christ archetype. The perception of “lyric prose miniature” by Ivan Turgenev in the cognitive format of current knowledge provides the stochastic (probabilistically perpetual) structure of understanding a small text represented as a mental hypertext with a nonlinear architecture of semantic development, having absorbed various sign-symbolic components typical for religious, mystic, artistic, fine art and psycho-semantic discourses.
