Maritime institutions in China serve as the primary training grounds for mari-time professionals. Compared to other industries, maritime personnel must not only master systematic professional skills but also possess physical fitness closely related to maritime work. Maritime physical education differs from conventional sports, as it heavily relies on aquatic environments and empha-sizes practical water skills and comprehensive adaptability. Against the back-drop of the ongoing advancement of the "Healthy China 2035" initiative, mari-time physical education has become an indispensable component of the mari-time education system. Consequently, establishing maritime physical education and health courses within maritime institutions holds significant importance.
