For the investigation and resolution of a crime, it is important to conduct investigative actions in a full and comprehensive manner. Among them, a special place is occupied by the examination of the crime scene. The paper discusses the psychological aspects related to the examination of the crime scene that affect the examination process. The complex psychological processes involved in the examination process and their interrelationships are analyzed, as well as the interactions that occur during the examination of the crime scene and a number of issues related to reflective thinking and its importance.
