The educational inclusion of refugee and migrant children is one of the priorities of their social inclusion in the host countries. The experience accumulated in the last few decades in this area allows us to outline several main determinants of the effectiveness of this process: Providing education in the language of the host country – free of charge, regularly, pedagogically justified, with the necessary resources – textbooks, teaching aids, by professional educators, in a school environment, together with students from the host country; Taking into account the sociocultural differences, determined by national, religious, ethnic affiliation, which have an impact on the consciousness and behavior of children; Very good training of professionals working with refugee and migrant children – teachers, social workers, psychologists, cultural mediators, other specialists; Readiness of society, especially at the local level, to accept refugee and migrant children as equals with other children in terms of their educational and personal development.
