This article presents the data on an idiolect study by means of the acoustic analysis of a songimprovisation (female performance) related to the UstNyukzha variety of the eastern dialect of the Evenki language. A number of aspects were considered including average values of acoustic characteristics of vowels (duration, formant characteristics, intensity, additional types of articulation), soundpitch changes in vowel phonation, vocal insertions in combinations of consonants, chanting vowels and acoustic techniques within them, creating musical effects in the Evenki folk singing tradition. The obtained results demonstrate the following maijor acoustic features: 1) longer vowel duration determined by the specific syllablerhythmic pattern of the chant; 2) emerging of vowel insertions after the first consonant of medial twoconsonant clusters allowed in Evenki words; 3) a larger amplitude of pitch changes in the voice, 4) a variety of melodic contours (smooth, gliding ascending and descending, vibrating and mordentshaped), 5) acoustic correlates of additional articulations of vowels (epiglottalization, glottalization, pharyngealization, radicalization) explained by the different involvement of the parts of the larynx during the performance of the analyzed material.
