Abstract

In April 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at Ramat Yishay (Permit No. A-8732; map ref. 215280–333/733947–995; Fig. 1), following damage to antiquities during the expansion of the Ha-Yovel School. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Ramat Yishay Local Council, was directed by O. Zidan, with the assistance of Y. Yaakobi (administration), A.E. Ibrahim (documentation and field photography), R. Be’eri (scientific guidance), Y. Gorin-Rosen (glass), H. Tahan-Rosen (finds drawing and plans) and L. Kupershmidt (metallurgical laboratory).
