Abstract

In July 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted on Virginia Ave. in the Western Industrial Zone in Bet Shemesh (Permit No. A-8782; map ref. 196070–745/627274–767; Fig. 1), prior to widening the road. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Bet Shemesh Development Corporation, was directed by H. Shliker, with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), S. Halevy (photogrammetry and aerial photography) and O. Zakaim (plans).
