Confronting Insecurity in North Central Boarding Secondary Schools: Challenges and Way Forward

Education is a sound investment that is expected to enhance economic growth of individuals and the society. With the rate which parents continue to withdraw their children from schools and making future leaders roam about on the street is alarming and need a lasting solution to it. The paper centers on confronting insecurity in North Central boarding secondary schools: challenges and way forward. The paper seeks to examine the concept of security, insecurity and secondary education. The paper also examine causes of insecurity challenges of insecurity in school and suggested way forward to control the rate of killing, poverty, withdrawal of students from schools in North Central. It concluded that if suggestions are followed, could assist to control or reduce the effect of security challenges in schools.
