Abstract

In June 2020, a trial excavation was conducted north of the Yero h am industrial zone (Permit No. A-8799; map ref. 194355–475/544384; Fig. 1), prior to the construction of a new plant near Na h al Avnon. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Assaf—Accessories Manufacturing Company LTD, was directed by L.W. Davis (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Alamor (administration), E. Aladjem (surveying and aerial photography), A. Golani (guidance) and workers from the plant.
