The article examines the emotivecausative categorical semantic complex and its semantic potential. The focus is made on the patterns of categorical interaction within the analyzed complex and ways to manifest this interaction. One of these methods is primarily semantic syncretism that reflects the very nature of emotive causatives and is an example of linguistic economy. Another way of language compression is incorporation. Verbal incorporation reflects the structural syntactic connections of the whole sentence and in a folded form conveys deep semantic connections at the level of the surface structure. Among the emotive causatives, one can single out a considerably large layer of verbs with incorporated actants that is heterogeneous in its composition as many verbs have a figurative meaning and can be used metaphorically. Incorporation in emotive causatives makes a lexeme acquire an evaluative and expressive shades of meaning.
