This article explores peacebuilding in religious contexts as a multidimensional process that integrates reconciliation, institutional reform, and cultural transformation. It reviews major theoretical frameworks—including Lederach’s Pyramid, the ABC Triangle, the Peacebuilding Palette, and multi-track diplomacy—and situates them in the realities of faith-based communities. Emphasizing inclusivity, local leadership, early conflict prevention, and resilience-building, the discussion highlights how peacebuilding can be embedded into social structures and cultural traditions. Case studies from Nigeria, Colombia, South Sudan, Myanmar, and Kenya illustrate adaptive approaches, including dialogue, education, cultural events, and economic empowerment. The article concludes that sustainable peace requires balancing structural transformation with grassroots participation, supported by innovation, partnerships, and context-sensitive strategies.
