Executive presence is increasingly recognized as a decisive factor in leadership effectiveness, shaping how leaders are perceived and how they mobilize action. This article examines executive presence as a multidimensional competence that integrates demeanor, communication, and appearance. Drawing on leadership studies and communication theory, it highlights how executive presence fosters confidence, trust, and credibility among stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on leaders operating in resource-limited environments, illustrating that presence can substitute for institutional strength and material resources. The article identifies core components—gravitas, persuasive communication, non-verbal expression, and personal branding—and demonstrates practical strategies for development through public speaking, mindfulness, storytelling, and digital visibility.
