This study examines the impact of the free lunch program on students’ physical fitness and mental health using a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis focuses on how nutritional interventions contribute to students’ physical and psychological well-being. Findings reveal that the program significantly improves students’ health, which in turn enhances academic achievement, learning performance, emotional stability, and participation in school activities. Beyond addressing nutritional needs, the program functions as a strategic initiative for sustainable human resource development by fostering a healthier and more productive generation. To maximize its impact, each component of the program must be carefully designed and implemented. Strengthening access to adequate nutrition through free lunch programs is therefore a vital step, requiring government support as part of integrated health and education policies aimed at student welfare and long-term national development.
