Introduction- Acute myocardial infarction is one of the leading cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide both in males as well as females. Aims & objectives- To analyse the clinical,biochemical and angiographic parametres of MI. Methodology- Observational study conducted in Katihar Medical College, a total of 42 females were enrolled from emergency department of medical college below age 70 years. Results- High prevalence of hypertension 64.3% and type 2 DM 45.2%, dyslipidemia 40.5% and obesity 57.1%. Chronic stable angina reported in 31.0% cases,mean age of presentation was 62 years. Conclusion- The need for urgency of enhancing public awareness, to recognize and address cardiovascular risk factors early.
