The article is devoted to the study of the effects of resistance fitness training on the physical condition and motivation of female university lecturers. The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of an adapted resistance fitness program in improving physical performance, functional state of the body, and motivation for regular physical activity. The study involved 50 female lecturers aged 35 to 60, divided into an experimental group (n=25) and a control group (n=25). The experimental program lasted 15 weeks, with training sessions conducted 2–3 times per week, each lasting 60 minutes. Assessment of physical condition included anthropometric measurements, functional tests, PWC170, step-test, and respiratory tests by Stange and Genche, while motivational and psycho-emotional status was evaluated using standardized questionnaires and the SAN method. Statistical analysis was performed to determine the significance of changes. The results demonstrated that participants in the experimental group showed significant improvements in muscle strength, flexibility, endurance, cardiovascular and respiratory function, as well as reductions in body circumferences. Additionally, there was a marked increase in motivation for physical activity and positive changes in psycho-emotional indicators compared to the control group. The findings confirm that an adapted resistance fitness program is an effective tool for enhancing physical condition, functional capacity, and motivation among female lecturers. The study highlights the potential of structured fitness interventions in higher education settings to support both physical health and psychological well-being, providing a basis for future research on targeted programs for professional groups with high occupational stress. activity.
