This paper proposes an advanced web platform for rendering glTF models with Level of Detail (LOD) information, presenting an efficient technique for handling complex 3D mesh models containing extensive geometric and visual data. While glTF™ has emerged as a powerful API-neutral asset format optimized for efficient transmission and loading of 3D scenes and models, its original specification lacked native LOD support, creating significant limitations for web-based applications where bandwidth and processing capabilities vary widely across devices.
