Overcoming of institutional contradictions in conditions of economic recovery in Donetsk region

The characteristics of the institutional conditions for the development of the economy of the Donbas as an old industrial region - part of the post-Soviet economic system is given. The main reproductive, target, territorial-sectoral and spatial contradictions are identified and grouped. The comparative characteristics of the categories of political and status rent are given. The macroeconomic effects of status rent in the context of institutional contradictions of innovative development are considered. The ways of overcoming these contradictions are proposed: the development of the media policy of the territorial brand, ensuring the transparency of the regulatory activity of local government bodies with regard to economic management, studying international experience in the regional development of the creative industry and the possibilities of its adaptation to domestic conditions, the use of information systems and technologies as a direction of state support for conditionallydepressed regions.
