Cultural festivals recognized as significant events not only celebrate local traditions but also contribute to the economic and social development of rural areas. These festivals can serve as powerful tools for promoting rural tourism, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing community engagement. A significant cultural festival is the research, which investigated how cultural festivals support community development and rural tourism. The research examines the viewpoints of people who live in various rural regions along the pilgrimage path to determine whether these events support local economies, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability. There are 3,500 residents who were polled, and SPSS version 28 was used to analyze the data using t-tests, ANOVA, and descriptive statistical analysis. Simulink was also used to model and simulate the possible effects of different festival-related situations. According to the results, cultural festivals are regarded as important catalysts for fostering community cohesion, conserving traditional culture, advancing public infrastructure, and improving local environments. Gender differences were noted: while female residents pointed out the festival's advantages for infrastructure and cultural preservation, they also pointed out drawbacks like congestion and disturbances to nearby living areas. Male residents mainly highlighted the festival's contribution to community cohesion. According to the results of the research, cultural festivals have a range of social, economic, and environmental effects that differ, depending on the area and the population. It indicates that having a better understanding of their impact on rural tourism and community development, future research could expand the focus to include other cultural festivals.
