The focus of this study is the unique gas-bearing massif of the Naryksko-Ostashkinskoye deposit, located within the Kuznetsk coal basin. This promising resource object with an area of 330 square kilometers is of particular interest to the modern gas production industry. The technological complex of development includes: a specialized well stock of various spatial orientations, an innovative coal seam degassing system, a set of methods for intensifying gas recovery. Particular attention should be paid to the applied technology of controlled reduction of reservoir pressure, implemented through: systematic pumping of reservoir fluids, creation of optimal conditions for gas desorption, application of modern hydraulic fracturing methods. The results of practical implementation of hydraulic fracturing technologies demonstrate: a multiple increase in the productivity of the well stock, a significant increase in the gas recovery factor, optimization of economic indicators of development. The obtained scientific data create a foundation for: developing promising methane recovery technologies, improving production intensification methods, increasing the efficiency of coal-gas resources development. Scientific novelty of the study: comprehensive analysis of process parameters, original method for assessing the effi-ciency of hydraulic fracturing, practical recommendations for optimizing production. This work makes a significant contribution to the development of methods for developing unconventional gas resources, offering scientifically sound solutions to improve the efficiency of coal-methane deposit development. In this article, an approximation method was identified. Which made it possible to bring the patterns of the flow rate dependence on the operating time of several wells (well clusters) into a model form for further analysis of the field. As a result of the study, black box methods were used and analogies of physical processes were carried out during the operation of well clusters. Which made it possible to determine the type of approximation and calculate the reliability coefficients. Flow rate reference points were adopted to build a more accurate approximation. And new ideas and tasks have been formed for subsequent research on the Naryk-Ostashkinskoye coal methane deposit in Kuzbass.
