ABSTRACT The ladybird beetle genus Dioria Mulsant, 1850 (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) has been revised based on the external morphology and genitalia, distinguished from the other genera of the tribe Chnoodini by the following characters: pronotum expanded anteriorly covering the eyes, 11-segmented antenna, eyes angulated on the inner front, tibiae flat with obtuse angulation, and abdominal postcoxal lines complete. This study describes and illustrates six species of Dioria, including two new species: Dioria annulata Gordon sp. nov. from Panama and Dioria robusta Churata & Almeida sp. nov. from French Guiana. Additionally, the lectotypes of Dioria setigera Mulsant, 1850 and D. sordida Mulsant, 1850 has been designated.
