This study reveals the complexity of the influence of religious education in Muslim families on children’s understanding of peace and tolerance. This study utilises library research by conducting an integrative and comprehensive literature analysis to investigate existing conceptual frameworks, evaluate findings from various previous studies, and identify knowledge gaps in the relevant literature. The study’s results stated that religious education provided in the family has a significant impact on shaping the attitudes and actions of children related to peace and tolerance. Religious instruction focusing on human values, compassion, and justice in their religious context makes children more likely to promote peace and value religious diversity. Therefore, the development of religious education that is balanced, inclusive, and oriented to the values of peace within the Muslim family has great potential to contribute to creating a more harmonious and inclusive society.
