The process of digital transformation of pedagogical competence, its possibilities and prospects in the context of educational modernization are considered. The research used the methods of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews among teachers, as well as statistical analysis of the data obtained using the Likert scale. The results showed that teachers are generally aware of the importance of digital technologies, but their use is limited by a number of factors, including a lack of methodological support, technical barriers and a low level of digital literacy. Recommendations are provided for the development of teachers' digital competencies, improvement of methodological and technical support, as well as the integration of digital technologies into the educational process. The findings of the study can be useful for educational organizations developing strategies for the digitalization of teaching activities
