Hybrid Words in the Kazakh Language: Formation and Usage

The emergence and usage of hybrid words in modern Kazakh are significant indicators of the language's development. This article explores the ways hybrid words are formed and their usage. Hybrid words are created by combining elements from two or more languages, and the majority of such words are widely used in scientific, technical, and information technology fields. The article also discusses the impact of hybrid words on the structure of the Kazakh language, their role in the lexical fund, and written communication. Additionally, the processes of forming new words and terms, word formation, and grapho-orthographic changes are examined. Currently, linguistic integration, that is, the convergence and mixing of languages, has become a phenomenon observed in all languages. Hybridization in the Kazakh language refers to the process of creating words by combining elements borrowed from foreign languages. Such words are often found in scientific and technical fields and written communication. Hybridization leads to an increase in borrowed words in the language and the emergence of words denoting new concepts. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the context of mass computerization and the development of science and technology.
