Poverty and social exclusion are major challenges to sustainable development, affecting multiple vulnerable groups. Social policies play a crucial role in preventing and mitigating these issues through measures of social protection, economic inclusion, and access to essential services. This study examines the impact of social policies at both national and international levels, highlighting the effectiveness of financial, educational, and employment support programs in reducing the risk of marginalization. The research emphasizes that well-designed policies, combining social transfers with active labor market integration measures, significantly contribute to improving the quality of life for those affected by poverty. Furthermore, integrated approaches that ensure equitable access to education, healthcare, and housing are essential for reducing social disparities. However, the study also identifies key challenges in policy implementation, including insufficient funding, service fragmentation, and limited intervention effectiveness. Findings suggest that social policies must be tailored to the specific needs of beneficiaries and supported by efficient monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. The study concludes that preventing poverty and social exclusion requires a complex approach based on intersectoral coordination, community participation, and sustainable development strategies.
