Abstract Stability and strength of the wings must be given top priority in the airplane's design process to ensure safe and long live performance. National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics Airfoils standards is adopted to design the proposed wing. Computer fluid dynamics analysis is used to investigate the effect of rip distribution on the induced wing vibration. The study emphasizes on how the wing structures deform in proportion to the average airflow velocity. At the intake, the air velocity is 17 m s −1 (61 km h −1 ). The wing is examined using modal analysis to determine its natural frequency, mode shape, and response in addition to the assessment of the accompanied stress. According to the findings, vibrational distortion could be increased by about 33% by increasing the number of ribs, Thus, for a given wing design, it is possible to correlate the reduction in wing structural vibration with the presence of ribs.
