BALB/c mice were divided into four groups: ovalbumin (OVA) + control mixture/vehicle (Veh), OVA + BIO 300, PBS + Veh, and PBS + BIO 300. PBS groups were sensitized and challenged with PBS. OVA groups were sensitized with 20 μg of OVA by intraperitoneal (i.p) injection on day 0 and day 7. All four groups were pretreated with either vehicle or BIO 300 orally every day from day 14 to day 28. PBS or OVA was administered intranasally from day 14 to day 28. Mice were sacrificed on day 29.
