This paper presents an architectural model for ensuring the cybersecurity of critical information infrastructure (CII) using a digital twin. The proposed approach integrates the digital twin, cyber range, and physical infrastructure into a closed-loop system for assessment, simulation, and incident response. The study covers simulation techniques, integration of the digital environment with a cyber range, and implementation of attack and defense scenarios involving Red and Blue Teams. During testing, several attacks successfully affected the target system, response metrics were analyzed, and previously unknown vulnerabilities were identified. These results enabled refinement of the model and highlighted areas for further development. The findings demonstrate the model’s practical value for assessing the resilience of CII in controlled environments.
