The article presents the results of a study on the digital transformation of Ukraine’s labor market in the context of global and internal socio-economic challenges and the opportunities for the development of innovative employment. Based on a synthesis of contemporary academic approaches, the article defines the concept of labor market transformation in the digital economy and outlines the current trends and directions of change, including the spread of remote, hybrid, gig, and project-based work, the growing importance of digital platforms, and new forms of online entrepreneurship. It is emphasized that digitalization leads not only to positive changes (flexibility, access to the global labor market, innovation) but also to negative consequences such as structural unemployment, increased digital inequality, and social isolation of certain population groups, particularly in rural and economically depressed regions. Special attention is given to the analysis of digitalization challenges for Ukraine's labor market and the territorial unevenness in access to digital opportunities. It is shown that rural residents face significant barriers in exercising their right to innovative employment due to poor infrastructure, lack of digital skills, and limited opportunities for retraining. The article proposes a conceptual model for developing adaptive HR strategies for enterprises amid digital transformation. The author’s approach to such a strategy focuses on flexible human capital management, digital inclusion, lifelong learning, fostering an innovation-oriented culture, and supporting corporate entrepreneurship. It is underscored that adaptive HR strategies should take into account regional labor market characteristics, help reduce the digital divide, and expand employment opportunities for all categories of workers.
