With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, business analytics systems are becoming increasingly widely used in corporate decision-making. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as a vital component of the national economy, face the pressure of digital transformation and urgently need to enhance their competitiveness through modern tools. However, due to limited resources and high technical barriers, SMEs face numerous challenges in implementing AI business analytics systems. This article, combining literature review with case studies, systematically explores the application of AI technology in data analysis, digital transformation, and business model innovation. The article also examines the practical applications of an e-commerce company in inventory optimization and customer demand forecasting. The results suggest that small and medium-sized enterprises can effectively lower the barrier to entry for AI adoption by optimizing data governance, leveraging open-source tools and cloud services, and implementing them in phases, thereby improving decision-making efficiency and operational efficiency.
