The increase in uncertainty in recent decades has motivated the development of specific concepts about the characteristics of the world where human life and business management occur. Such concepts are BANI and the VUCA world. According to the authors, understanding these concepts allows us to see the close relationship between them when we consider them nonlinearly through the prism of feedback loops. Managing an enterprise in conditions of uncertainty and the BANI-world involves a high level of risk, primarily due to the incompleteness, timeliness, and reliability of information at the time of decision-making. The level of uncertainty is often associated with risk-proneness, leading to a managerial dilemma: balancing the degree of risk a particular enterprise management system can take on while preserving and/or strengthening its strategic potential. The degree of uncertainty in enterprise management depends on understanding the types of uncertainty and considering appropriate approaches. The attention of enterprise management should be focused on building its stability and antifragility. In general, the authors have formed guidelines for enterprise management in conditions of uncertainty and the BANI-world, in particular: a decision-making matrix has been proposed in the context of the dilemma of enterprise management in conditions of uncertainty; guidelines have been formed for enterprise management taking into account types of uncertainty (aleatory, epistemic and semantic); a scheme for determining fragility objects within the framework of diagnostics of the enterprise’s systemic perfection as a function of its systemic state at the first level of decomposition and further actions to build stability and antifragility has been proposed; the relationship between the concepts of VUCA and BANI world has been considered, including through the prism of feedback loops in the subjective position for working with the characteristics of the modern world in the context of the state of the external environment for enterprise management. Managing an enterprise in conditions of uncertainty and the BANI world requires reducing entropy in its system state, which is reflected in practice by the level of its systemic perfection, a flexible management system, and the formation of the potential for stability and antifragility on the path to functioning and development in the space of diversity of the external environment, balancing between the degree of risk and the required level of strategic potential. Keywords: enterprise, uncertainty, business organization, management, BANI-world, systemic excellence, resilience, antifragility.
