The article examines the use of infrared heaters to ensure optimal microclimate conditions at non-permanent workstations in industrial premises. The study was conducted using the BALLU BIH-AP4-1.0-W infrared heater, which belongs to the class of long-wave emitters. The main focus was on analyzing heating dynamics, spatial heat distribution, and the device's energy efficiency. Experimental data showed that the heater reaches maximum radiation output in 13 minutes, and heat distribution follows the inverse square law with an attenuation coefficient of 1.7–2.0 when horizontally displaced from the center. An analysis of heating different materials (wood, steel) revealed differences in the rate and stability of temperature regulation. Based on the results, practical recommendations are provided for heater placement, power adjustment, and microclimate parameter monitoring. It was found that using infrared heaters reduces energy consumption compared to traditional heating systems while providing targeted and comfortable thermal exposure.
