Traditionally, texts have been interpreted in a individual format based on the author's biographical tendencies. However, there has been a shift in interpretation methods, which now occur in multiple forms. This article argues that the plurality of interpretation is an important component in contemporary times, particularly in relation to Umberto Eco's fiction. Eco's work emphasizes the finding of multiple levels of comprehension and their respective interpretations. It is undeniable that interpretations differ depending on the language and semantic knowledge of the reader in relation to the author. Due to Eco's literary inclination, he demonstrates a strong affinity towards certain deconstructive traits. As a result, he possesses a literary vision that allows him to explore and expand the textual universe in relation to interpretation, meanings, and knowledge. Moreover, parody possesses a significant inclination towards expanding the potential for interpretation beyond the conventional methods of engaging with the text. Undoubtedly, the expansion of interpretation is inherently susceptible to misinterpretation, but it must be justified based on linguistic, semantic, and philosophical reasoning. This can potentially enable readers to arrive at a relatively accurate interpretation of any literary book, thereby facilitating a deeper comprehension of its social, political, cultural, and intellectual dimensions.
