The impact of using digital technologies on the innovative activity of enterprises

Subject. The article discusses statistical indicators of the use of digital technologies by enterprises in the region and their relationship with indicators of innovative activity of enterprises. Objectives. The purpose is to determine the dynamics of the use of digital technologies and identify its relationship with the level of innovative activity of enterprises. Methods. The study rests on examination and analysis of literature, methods of generalization, observation, and the correlation analysis. Results. The paper identifies trends in the use of digital technologies and their relationship with the innovative activity of enterprises in the regions of the Russian Federation for 2014–2023. The results of the research can be applied in the field of managing the innovative development of the region. Conclusions. The strongest correlation with the performance of enterprises in the field of innovation by regions of the Russian Federation was found in the indicators of server usage, cloud service technologies, and electronic document management. The relationship of technology usage indicators is more stable with the cost of innovative products than with their output.
