The purpose of this article is to investigate the methods of educational supervision and guidance in a documentary way using reliable and accessible sources in the field of educational supervision and guidance. Educational supervision is one of the key tools to improve the quality of students' learning and teachers' teaching, which helps to identify strengths and weaknesses in curricula and teaching methods and enables continuous improvement. In this article, educational monitoring methods are investigated in two main categories: direct methods and indirect methods. Direct methods of educational supervision include: traditional supervision, clinical supervision, supervision based on growth and development, situational supervision (contingent), cooperative supervision, advisory supervision, supervision in the form of teaching demonstration, supervision in the form of joint teaching, and other methods. Direct includes: in-service training for teachers, holding consultative meetings with teachers, holding meetings for curriculum development, holding educational workshops, holding professional seminars, holding lecture sessions, using scientific methods, forming research groups, studying professional publications holding meetings of parents and teachers. The information that educational supervisors and school managers have about these methods can help them in proper behaviour and dealing with teachers and gain their trust and respect and motivate them to work. This ultimately leads to cooperation, growth and professional development between them and causes prosperity and development of schools and education system.
