Results relative to the development and the implementation of a resource-saving technology of rolling asymmetric rails on a tandem mill are presented. All the results were obtained for an example of the asymmetric profile of a switch point rail. The developed rolling technology is based on the analysis of the applied method for determination of the geometric deformation zone as well as rational speed conditions of the rolling in a finishing train of the tandem mill.
